Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company seeks a Chef De Partie (Lead Line Cook) at Schweitzer to lead line during service, prep ingredients, and ensure top-quality presentation. You’ll work across multiple outlets and help maintain kitchen standards and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have strong knife skills, culinary technique, and a commitment to cleanliness, safety, and teamwork in a busy, safety-conscious environment. This role is full-time year-round at Schweitzer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years line cook experience.
• Idaho Food Safety Certification preferred.
• English reading/writing and basic math required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
• Ensure all prep is done according to recipes and portion standards.
• Cook and assemble menu items with attention to presentation and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures for a hygienic kitchen.
• Assist in inventory and stock management; alert leadership when stock is low or expired.
• Collaborate with Back of House and Front of House teams.
