Job summary

Remington Hotels is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare menu items, follow recipes, and ensure consistent portions and plate presentation.

You will work across all stations, train junior staff, maintain cleanliness, and coordinate with the Sous Chef to manage supplies and daily prep. The role may require nights, weekends, and holidays, with a strong focus on guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a Line Cook at a hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to work all stations on the line.
• Food handling certification required.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• May require varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Directs, trains, and monitors Line Cooks; maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Prepare and assign production and prep work; review priorities.
• Communicate changes to assignments during the shift.
• Set up stations with mis en place; break down and close at day end.
• Inform the Sous Chef of supplies to requisition for tasks.
