Safe Harbor Marinas, LLC (SHM) is seeking a Lead Line Cook for the Safe Harbor Peninsula Yacht Club. The role involves preparing all food items per recipes in a sanitary and timely manner within a private club setting.

You will follow recipes, operate standard kitchen equipment safely, and maintain a clean, organized station while ensuring sanitation and food production codes are met. This position requires teamwork and the ability to handle overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • General cook skills and safety knowledge.

Description

The Lead Line Cook at Safe Harbor Peninsula Yacht Club prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner in a private Club setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
  • Maintain inventory control
  • Available to work overtime when required
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
  • Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area.
  • Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
Technical and Physical Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years’ experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Any skills considered standard that a Cook should possess
