Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of lead or line cook experience.
• Knowledge of cooking procedures, temperatures and equipment.
• Familiar with safety rules for kitchen equipment.
• Ability to read and communicate in English with staff and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen with a neat appearance.

Responsibilities

• Stock supplies and utensils and keep kitchen clean.
• Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare all food items in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
• Assist Executive Chef and lead throughout the shift.
• Ensure a smooth flow of service.
