Maverick Gaming LLC is hiring a Line Cook at Maverick Casino & Hotel in Elko, NV. The role involves food prep, stocking, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness, working across Maverick Casino & Hotel and Gold Country Inn & Casino. Pay ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, DOE, with housing options after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Prior prep or line cook experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking procedures and kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of safety rules for kitchen equipment.
• Maintain safety in a high-pace and hot environment.
• Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
• Ability to read and satisfactorily communicate in English with co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Stock supplies, products and utensils throughout the kitchen and general cleaning of the kitchen and stock areas.
• Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare all food items as directed, in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Chef Cuisine.
