Job summary

The Condado Collection in Puerto Rico is seeking an experienced line cook to lead kitchen operations in a fine dining setting. You will set up stations, follow supervisor recipes, ensure timely, high‑quality dishes, and maintain cleanliness.

You’ll manage food quality, rotation, temperatures, and inventory, collaborate with supervisors on menus, and uphold safety standards. Bilingual Spanish/English required; flexibility for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Hospitality focused and guest-service oriented.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Experience running kitchen areas/stations in fine dining.

Responsibilities

• Leads the kitchen staff to prepare dishes on time and to a high degree of quality.
• Set-up stations properly and on time for each service period.
• Ensure all food is prepared by recipes designated by the supervisor.
• Maintain food quality, correct quantities, and on-time service.
• Monitor production charts and safe sanitation practices.
• Rotate stock, regulate temperatures, and ensure ingredient freshness.
• Plan menus with supervisory staff considering costs and events.
• Keep records, contribute to financial goals, and follow safety policies.
