Barrel One Collective (B1C), home to Harpoon Brewery and other celebrated brands, is hiring a full-time Lead Line Cook to join our opening restaurant team in Manchester, NH. This is an exciting opportunity to lead in a scratch kitchen, contribute to a new restaurant opening, and be part of a team passionate about craft beer, fresh food, and great hospitality.

Position Overview
The Lead Line Cook plays a key role in daily kitchen operations, supporting culinary execution and team development. As the senior cook on shift, this role leads BOH service in the absence of the Kitchen Manager, mentors kitchen staff, ensures food safety, and helps maintain a positive and productive kitchen culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead kitchen operations and staff during shifts when the Kitchen Manager is off
  • Train and support cooks and prep team to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency
  • Prepare and plate dishes accurately and quickly in a high-volume setting
  • Maintain clean, stocked stations and ensure proper food storage and labeling
  • Oversee opening and closing duties and ensure compliance with health code standards
  • Support inventory, prep execution, and communicate needs to management
  • Serve as a resource for menu knowledge and food quality

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in a fast-paced or scratch kitchen
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
  • Working knowledge of food safety, prep standards, and kitchen operations
  • Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A positive, team-first attitude and a desire to contribute to a growing concept
