Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. in Carrollton, OH, is seeking a Line Clearance Manual Crew Foreman with CDL and climbing experience to join our team servicing Carrollton / Carroll County. This on-site role offers a full-time hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Practical requirements include a valid driver’s license, line clearance or related tree experience, and the ability to complete Davey training programs upon hire. CDL Class A/B with endorsements preferred.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required at hire.
Line clearance experience or related tree work preferred.
Commercial driver’s license (Class A or B) with air brake endorsement preferred.
Pesticide licenses/certifications may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

Pruning treetops and repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal.
Removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs and other structures.
Apply tree identification knowledge and industry pruning guidelines.
Perform job-site inspections with planning and task execution.
Maintain and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts.
Mentor and train new employees.
