Job summary

Royal American Construction in Panama City, FL is seeking a Lift Station Superintendent to oversee the installation and commissioning of lift stations, supervise on-site staff and subcontractors, and ensure work meets project specifications.

The role requires strong English communication, hands-on mechanical understanding, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather; a high school diploma and 2+ years of supervisory construction experience are required, with lift station experience

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years or more supervisory experience in a construction environment.
One (1) year experience with lift stations.
Must be fluent in English (written and verbal).
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct staff in day-to-day activities related to installation of lift stations, pressure line taps, line stops, and Inserta valves.
Inspect the work to ensure adherence to job specifications and standards.
Inspect the invert and possible infiltration.
Directly assist with these activities as required by the job.
Must be able to descend into and ascend from storm sewer structures and sewer manholes to inspect and instruct.
Ability to work outside all day in the elements.
