Job summary

The City of Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Department is hiring Lead Lifeguards to oversee aquatic facilities including municipal beaches, pools, aquatic centers, water parks, and day camps. You will monitor water activities, enforce safety rules, coordinate staff rotations, and respond to emergencies.

This role also involves guiding lifeguard staff and acting as onsite supervisor when management is unavailable, ensuring safe experiences for the public.
