Job summary

Communications Engineering Company (CEC) seeks a field technician to lead the installation and inspection of life safety systems across assigned projects. You will work with a team to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to industry standards, reviewing project plans and test results, and maintaining clean, organized job sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily plans, testing devices, documenting outcomes, and communicating discrepancies to the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical degree preferred.
• 2+ safety certifications and 1 industry certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily project and inspection plan with safe work practices.
• Assist in cable pathway construction, cable pulling, device terminations.
• Test life safety devices and document results.
• Communicate testing results and discrepancies to the team.
• Travel up to 25% to project sites.
• Support Sales team to solidify client relationships.
