Job summary

Communications Engineering Company (CEC) is seeking a Systems Specialist to lead the physical installation of security systems on all assigned projects. You’ll work with the project team to meet safety and quality objectives by following industry codes, standards, and best practices.

Responsibilities include reviewing project details, planning resources, and coordinating with customers. The role requires strong communication, site leadership, and the ability to mentor junior team members on the

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technology experience within CEC or similar company.
• 2 Industry certifications (i.e., NICET, Bicsi, CTS, etc.) (preferred)
• Certifications and trainings can/will be obtained during the first year of employment to meet the minimum qualifications when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Review project information with key personnel to address questions.
• Plan projects: coordinate resources, site access, PPE, and equipment with Project Manager.
• Review system functionality, schedule, and plan with customer; oversee site walk-throughs.
• Lead daily work plan; ensure safe work practices and quality assurance.
• Inspect installation to CEC quality standards; mentor team; finalize documentation.
• Coordinate customer training and system testing; create punch lists.
• Assist with onsite training of less experienced team members.
• Support service tickets and the 24/7 On Call rotation.
