Job summary

Illinois Legal Aid Online (ILAO) seeks a Legal Content Manager, Volunteer Programs to lead the Legal Content Volunteer program and manage content publication for Illinois audiences.

You will collaborate with editors, product, and community engagement to ensure accurate, plain-language legal information while maintaining high editorial standards. The role offers hybrid work with periodic in-person meetings across Illinois.

Qualifications

• Law degree (J.D.) and Illinois bar admission required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal practice or related legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Content publication and maintenance across designated legal areas.
• Supervise Legal Content Volunteer (LCV) program and coordinate pro bono projects.
• Engage with Product and Community Engagement Teams to improve delivery of legal information.
• Track content quality, timelines, and stakeholder feedback.
• Participate in organizational ARDEI activities and fundraising-related tasks.
