Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) seeks a Team Leader Assembly to guide the day-to-day assembly activities, drive continuous improvement, and achieve production metrics. You will apply Lean principles and proactive troubleshooting to keep lines efficient and safe while mentoring team members.

The role emphasizes problem solving, standardized work, and effective collaboration with engineering and quality teams to sustain high-quality power package builds.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; may substitute with related work experience on a year-for-year basis.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, BPD, Standardized Work, and procedural documentation.
• Experience training others on production equipment and Lean methodologies.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and lead an Assembly Team to improve performance and meet daily metrics.
• Lead daily team-based problem solving on the shop floor with Built-In-Quality focus.
• Support creation and revision of Standardized Work with Engineering and Core Team Leaders.
• Investigate quality issues using data-driven methods and implement corrective actions.
• Perform daily process verifications and ensure tools and equipment are in order.
• Report production data and maintain smooth flow of manufacturing operations.
