Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) is seeking an Assembly Team Member in Wood Dale, IL. You will assemble engine components and subassemblies per blueprints and standard work instructions, using hand tools and electronic tooling, while applying Lean principles to improve efficiency.

The role requires reading technical documents, measuring critical dimensions, and maintaining quality during production, including lifting up to 40 pounds and following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and the ability to read engineering drawings and instructions.
• Reading and converting instruction manuals/diagrams into work.
• Experience with micrometers/calipers and hand tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble or install engine components and subassemblies using hand tools and electronic tooling per blueprints and work instructions.
• Verify product quality using quality checklists and report defects.
• Measure critical dimensions with micrometers/calipers and observe assembly movement to detect issues.
