Job summary

Amtrak is seeking a Lead Digital Agility Coach to support Lean-Agile teams across the organization. This mid-level role trains and coaches teams in Scrum, Kanban, and quality practices while guiding planning, execution, and review to maximize value delivery.

The role requires extensive Agile experience, SAFe mastery, and ability to mentor teammates toward continuous learning and autonomous problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with several years of related experience.
• Expert level Jira/Confluence tools for Agile delivery and collaboration.
• SAFe Scrum Master certification is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum/Kanban events and ensure Lean-Agile SAFe practices.
• Coach teams, Product Owners and stakeholders to improve Lean-Agile maturity.
• Develop coaching plans tailored to team maturity and goals.
• Manage AgilityHealth TeamHealth assessments and lead improvement actions.
• Identify and remove impediments to enable predictable value delivery.
• Promote collaboration across teams, ARTs and value streams.
• Lead continuous improvement through retrospectives and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
