Job summary

Undue Medical Debt is seeking an Associate Director, Philanthropy to grow frontline giving across Leadership and Major Gifts, plus peer-to-peer fundraising. You will manage a portfolio of 125–150 high-potential donors, guiding them from discovery to solicitation and stewardship.

The role collaborates with the VP of Philanthropy and senior leadership to identify new major-gift donors, develop tailored proposals and impact reports, and lead peer-to-peer campaigns while exploring grassroots

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive frontline fundraising or relationship management experience.
• Experience securing gifts of $5,000+ and personally soliciting a portfolio of individual donors.
• Peer-to-Peer fundraising experience is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of donor motivations, solicitation strategies, and stewardship best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontline giving strategy to secure leadership and major gifts.
• Manage a portfolio of 125–150 high-potential donors and prospects.
• Conduct 10–12 donor meetings or significant contacts per month.
• Identify and cultivate prospective major gift donors with VP of Philanthropy and senior leadership.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and impact reports tailored to donors.
• Partner with campaigns lead to design and manage peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.
• Support and steward donors leading fundraising efforts with tools and encouragement.
• Explore grassroots engagement like small donor initiatives and giving days.
