Job summary

Maldonado Nursery & Landscaping Inc. seeks an Estimating Manager to oversee the estimating process for landscape maintenance, enhancements, and irrigation projects, leading a small team and guiding enhancement/irrigation estimates while aligning bids with profitability and growth goals.

The role collaborates with the sales team to streamline bids, maintain bid schedules, and ensure accuracy of take-offs, with on-site work in San Antonio and standard M-F schedule.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of landscape estimating experience.
• Proficiency with Aspire software.
• Ability to work onsite M-F.

Responsibilities

• Oversee estimating and bid management for landscape projects.
• Lead bid process from RFP to senior leadership presentation.
• Maintain bid schedule and compile take-off data.
• Ensure estimates align with gross margin and net profits.
• Develop and refine estimates for maintenance, enhancements, and irrigation projects.
• Provide guidance on irrigation repairs and landscape construction estimates.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard estimators; conduct monthly performance reviews.
• Improve estimating processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with sales to streamline bids and drive profitability.
