Job summary

James River Grounds Management seeks an Enhancements Crew Leader to supervise a on-site crew, ensuring safety and efficiency while delivering quality work on schedule. You will train crewmembers, assign tasks, and manage small scale enhancement operations under the Operations Manager.

Required: 18+, dependable with good English, and ability to operate landscape equipment; Spanish preferred. Valid driver’s license; pre-employment checks apply. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to train others and exercise leadership skills.
• Effective English communication; bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
• Dependability and punctuality with variable hours based on weather/season.
• Ability to plan, organize and direct a team efficiently.
• Safely operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a crew on the job site, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Develop and train crewmembers; assign and direct work.
• Read architectural drawings and follow installation plans.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including chemical applications with proper licensing.
• Transport crew members to and from sites in company vehicle.
• Keep equipment, vehicles, and job sites safe, organized, and well-maintained.
