Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial site development projects from inception to completion.

You will coach staff, manage labor and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality, while maintaining logs and production reports. Strong communication and budgeting skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, civil engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management or related.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with landscape, concrete, irrigation, and construction production techniques
• Expert knowledge of construction tools, machinery, and equipment
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Strong work ethic and effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience
• Bilingual Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Coach, evaluate, and train staff and field workers in landscape construction services.
• Inspect all field work; analyze and resolve problems.
• Manage labor force & subcontractors to ensure labor budgets are on track.
• Maintain daily and weekly activity logs; update production reports.
• Dispatch labor and equipment to job sites
• Manage equipment utilization and maintenance.
• Ensure services meet contract specs and stay on budget.
• Collaborate with staff to meet external and internal customer expectations.
• Promote a positive, people-oriented environment.
• Promote safety practices and conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Model ethical behavior and company culture.
