Athens Services seeks an Operations Supervisor – Landfill to oversee daily landfill operations, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the site. You will guide staff, monitor production, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressively responsible landfill-operations experience.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.; valid Class A license.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills.
• HazWoper 40-hour certification within 6 months.
• SWANA MOLO certification within 6 months or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and landfill sequencing plans.
• Familiar with MS Office products Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• DOT and OSHA regulations knowledge (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Oversees the daily landfill facility operations.
• Resolves customer and site personnel problems according to policy.
• Inputs required daily information, reviews paperwork, inspections and timesheets.
• Lead safety meetings and ensures training for staff.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed to meet production goals.
• Meet daily throughput goals aligned with budget targets.
