Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Landfill Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day landfill activities, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations at the Frankfort site. You will lead site personnel and coordinate with leadership to optimize performance.

Reporting to a single supervisor with 11 direct reports (heavy equipment operators, scale house operators, general laborers), you will drive planning, environmental systems, and continuous improvement initiatives to support

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in landfill, waste, construction, or industrial operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations, operational compliance, and equipment management.
• High school diploma or GED required.

The Landfill Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day landfill activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role leads site personnel, manages landfill processes, and works closely with operational and environmental leadership to support business objectives, maintain regulatory compliance, and optimize landfill performance.
