Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Field Services Technician to perform field work on landfill gas collection and control systems, traveling to sites and supervising junior techs. You will install piping, operate flares, collect data, and support safe field operations.

You will spend most days in the field, with some site travel and coordination responsibilities, and work from either Raynham, MA or Peabody, MA offices when needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a related field.
• Mechanical skills and attention to detail.
• Team leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Outdoor work approximately 90% of each workday.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain landfill gas systems.
• Provide direction to junior field technicians.
• Schedule and coordinate field activities.
• Communicate with field teams and clients.
• Collect data from wellfield locations.
• Perform valve/vacuum adjustments and data collection.
• Lead small construction projects with piping work.
• Maintain and operate landfill flares and pumps.
• Attend to on-call gas system malfunctions.
