Job summary

STV, Inc. in South Carolina seeks an experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to support our Field Services & CEI operations. You will lead surveys on highway and bridge projects, mentor staff, and ensure QA/QC from kickoff to delivery.

Requirements include SC PLS licensure, 4+ years of surveying experience, and proficiency with Microstation, OpenRoads, Civil 3D, Trimble B.Center, Carlson Survey and MS Office; valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

State licensure as Professional Land Surveyor in South Carolina required.
Minimum 4 years of relevant surveying experience.
Experience reviewing survey data and producing certified documents.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Lead survey tasks on multiple projects from kickoff to delivery.
Mentor survey staff and develop scopes of work and fees.
Perform QA/QC to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Sign and seal survey documents and supporting procedures.
Supervise construction verification surveys on state highway and bridge projects.
