ARCXIS seeks a skilled Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to support South Carolina operations. You will oversee boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, ensure compliance with state regulations, and deliver accurate data for residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of surveying experience, including boundary and construction surveys.
• Strong knowledge of South Carolina surveying laws, standards, and practices.
• Experience with survey software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, Trimble, etc.).
• Ability to interpret legal descriptions, plats, and construction documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, and construction surveys in accordance with South Carolina statutes and standards.
• Prepare, review, and certify survey documents, including plats, legal descriptions, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Interpret and analyze survey data, title reports, construction plans, and legal documents.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of field data collection and survey deliverables.
• Sign and seal survey documents as required by state regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, permitting, and inspection services.
• Communicate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Ensure all survey work complies with applicable laws, codes, and company standards.
• Support project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
