Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a Professional Land Surveyor to lead survey projects across Wisconsin and supervise survey staff.

The PLS will manage project scopes, review technical work, and serve as the licensed professional responsible for final signed and sealed deliverables. Qualifications

• Wisconsin PLS license or ability to obtain Wisconsin licensure.
• Strong experience with ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topographic, and subdivision surveys.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin surveying regulations and land records.
• Experience with CSMs and subdivision platting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar survey/CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topographic, and Plat of Survey documents
• Prepare Certified Survey Maps (CSMs) and subdivision plats
• Ensure compliance with Wisconsin statutes, regulations, and professional standards
• Review field data, mapping, plats, and survey documents for accuracy
• Lead and mentor survey technicians and field crews
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and quality control
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, developers, title companies, and municipalities
• Support land development, transportation, municipal, and infrastructure projects
• Assist with proposals, client communication, and project planning
