Job summary

Green Brick Partners, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager - Land to lead accounting for land development activities in the Plano area. The role supports monthly and quarterly closes, prepares management reporting, and ensures alignment with US GAAP and company policies.

You will supervise accounting staff, drive robust internal controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including title companies and developers to maintain accurate financial records and timely disclosures.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting; Masters preferred and CPA preferred are valued.
• 5+ years’ accounting experience, with public accounting or real estate/land development exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Close, accounting and financial analysis for land development entities and projects.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses.
• Prepare complex journal entries and analyses for non-routine transactions.
• Analyze financial results, development spending, and project activity.
