Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological/Physical Sciences with four years of related chemical/research experience.
• Master's degree in Biology or related Physical Science with two years of laboratory experience preferred.
• N/A licensure, certification or registration.

Responsibilities

• Consults with principal investigator in planning, developing, and implementing clinical/research projects.
• Develops control procedures for test standardization and experimental techniques for specimen analyses.
• Reviews journals and literature to inform design of procedures and techniques.
• Prepares detailed reports and discusses results with PI; assists in manuscript preparation.
• Supervises and coordinates laboratory operations, training, and staffing; sets work priorities.
• Maintains facilities and equipment supplies; develops work procedures, methods, and policies.
• Interviews technical applicants and participates in hiring decisions.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work.
