Zusammenfassung

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead laboratory staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality improvement. You will supervise shifts, monitor resources, and participate in organizational MOR while coaching and developing team members.

Required: 2-year/associate or 4-year bachelor in Medical Technology, Florida Supervisor’s license or eligibility, 5 years as a Medical Technologist, and prior supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Requires Associate or Bachelor degree in Medical Technology or Science.
• Florida State Supervisor license or eligibility to obtain during interview.
• Minimum 5 years as a Medical Technologist.
• Prior supervisory experience is beneficial.
• Licensure in 3 technical specialties preferred.

Aufgaben

• Supervise technical and/or non-technical laboratory staff and shifts.
• Oversee processes, service levels, and regulatory compliance across licensed areas, including specimen handling and testing.
• Develop monitoring systems for quality assessment data; initiate corrective actions and re-monitor results.
• Monitor resource utilization: payroll, supplies, expenses, and workflow metrics; participate in MOR.
• Provide leadership in coaching, training, and talent development of staff.
• Screen and interview candidates for open department positions.
