Job summary

Emanate Health is seeking aPhlebotomist to perform venipunctures across ages, process specimens, and support client communications. The role includes supervising phlebotomists during shifts, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring orderly lab operations.

Required are a High School diploma or equivalent, California CPT certification, and BLS. Two years of acute care hospital lab experience are preferred; strong customer service and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and terminology.
• Two years acute care hospital laboratory experience preferred; leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures on adults and pediatrics; micro collection on infants.
• Perform routine laboratory processes and data entry; specimen processing.
• Communicate with clients to resolve specimen concerns; provide shift oversight.
• Direct activity of phlebotomists during shift, including scheduling and training.
