Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy; two years acute hospital laboratory experience preferred; leadership experience preferred.
• Current California CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) certificate and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures on adults and pediatrics.
• Perform micro collection on infants.
• Participate in data entry and specimen processing.
• Direct phlebotomists during shift, including scheduling and workload management.
• Manage supply inventory and assist with client communication to resolve specimen concerns.
