Job summary

Destination Zion Lodge seeks a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations and lead the Back of House team. You will ensure food quality, safety, and timely production, collaborating with the F&B Manager on menus and events.

Onsite housing is provided; duties include scheduling, training, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across shifts. This role offers room for growth within POWDR properties and related facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a commercial kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety.
• Ability to schedule staff for peak hours and events.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the kitchen staff in daily tasks and food preparation.
• Ensure compliance with food handling, preparation, and safety procedures.
• Assist in scheduling kitchen staff for peak hours and events.
• Oversee kitchen operations and ensure timely, quality food production.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and F&B Manager on menu development.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
• Lead and develop the Back of House Lead.
• Monitor food costs, waste, and portions.
• Onboard new kitchen staff and provide ongoing training.
