Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor at our Pittsburgh property. You will partner with the culinary team to lead, train, and develop associates, oversee menus, recipes, and food production for all outlets, and ensure exceptional quality and sanitation.

The role requires strong leadership and experience in a high-volume hotel environment, with focus on cost control, staff development, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Serv Safe certification preferred.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client services.
• Experience as Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in high-volume hotels is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Foster professionalism and teamwork in the kitchen.
• Hire, train and supervise culinary staff.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and sanitation standards.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and costs for kitchen and labor.
• Lead the team to ensure consistent taste and quality.
• Develop menus and item pricing; train staff on new items.
