Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day supervision of the Stewarding team across kitchen, restaurants, banquets and rooms areas. You will manage dishwashing operations, supervise cleaning of utensils, and ensure timely delivery and proper temperature of food for events.

The role requires coordinating with banquet and culinary teams, training staff on safety procedures, PPE usage, and chemical handling, and maintaining sanitation standards hotel-wide.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferable.
• Food Handlers Certification is desirable.
• Stable work history required.

Responsibilities

• Plan out the work for the Stewards and assign tasks within the hotel.
• Coordinate with executive steward and engineering on recycling and educate staff about programs.
• Ensure staff training on chemicals, PPE, SDS sheets and safe storage of chemicals.
• Order supplies with the purchasing department and manage inventories.
• Coordinate with banquets and culinary teams for daily functions and setups.
• Lead daily stand ups and ensure clear communication on daily operations.
