Job summary

Wynn Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Lead Kitchen Worker to manage kitchen stewarding tasks and supervise staff in a fast-paced environment. The role requires effective communication with management and a strong focus on cleanliness and safety.

You will oversee washing and maintaining equipment, cleaning cooking devices, and ensuring compliance with health standards while leading a team and coordinating with the Stewarding Department.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Second language is a plus.
• Experience in kitchen stewarding or similar physically demanding work preferred.
• Leadership skills to guide employees.
• Able to work with industrial chemicals in a team environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 400 lbs; operate heavy machinery.
• Valid Clark County Health card.
• Age 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with management.
• Lead the Kitchen worker staff.
• Wash, clean and polish equipment; sort and clean dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils and ashtrays.
• Clean cooking devices such as stoves, grills, ovens, broilers, burner tops, steamer ovens, kettle-braisers, hood panels, deep fryers, dishwasher machines, stainless counters, drains.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per Health Department standards.
• Bio-hazard cleanup.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Department Management.
• Be prompt, present and prepared for all scheduled shifts.
• Adhere to Wynn Las Vegas Stewarding Department standards.
