Qualifications

• Directly supervises food-service associates following policies and procedures.
• Requires previous supervisory and cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates.
• Advises management of purchasing requirements with focus on minimizing waste.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures.
• Maintains food rotations to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety.
• Operates food-service equipment safely.
• Assists during meals and collects customer feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
