Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food according to established recipes and procedures. You will lead a team, ensure safety and cleanliness, control costs, and support staff development.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to recipes, inventory checks, and managing labor costs while fostering a fun, safe, and productive kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Back of House operations
• Strong knowledge of food safety procedures
• Ability to lead and develop kitchen staff

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in accordance with recipes
• Enforcing policy compliance and maintaining restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to ensure timely food item ticket times
• Managing performance and providing coaching to Back of House staff
• Developing key employees through regular feedback and evaluations
• Conducting Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety
• Overseeing proper handling, storage, and maintenance of all items
• Managing food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs
• Scheduling shifts and assigning tasks for Back of House team
• Training staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
• Reviewing applications and assisting in hiring Back of House staff
