Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in a timely manner, according to established recipes and procedures. If you have a passion for made from scratch food.

As a Kitchen Manager your responsibilities would include supervising production, enforcing policies, managing inventory and safety, cost control, scheduling, training, and hiring Back of House staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing production and preparation of food in accordance with recipes and procedures
• Enforcing employment policies and ensuring restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient food item ticket times
• Managing Back of House staff performance, including evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions
• Developing key staff through daily feedback during one-on-ones
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Understanding and enforcing safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, waste tracking, and kitchen labor costs
• Directing work schedules and task assignments for Back of House staff
• Training staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
• Reviewing applications and hiring or recommending hires for Back of House teams
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
