Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food in a timely manner according to recipes and procedures.

You will supervise production, enforce policies, manage staff performance, and drive cost control while maintaining safety and quality. The role offers opportunities for career growth within a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient food item ticket times
• Managing Back of House employees including performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Developing key employees by providing daily feedback during one-on-ones
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks as part of inventory and safety responsibilities
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Understanding and enforcing safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, waste tracking, and kitchen labor costs
• Directing work for Back of House staff, including scheduling and task assignment
• Training staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring Back of House staff
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
