Job summary

Kitchen Guard is seeking a Lead Technician to oversee high-temperature, high-pressure kitchen exhaust cleaning. You’ll manage a 2-person crew, perform pre/post inspections, and ensure bare-metal cleaning with NFPA 96 compliance. This role emphasizes safety, documentation, and on-site leadership.

The position requires operating near rooftops, lifting 50+ lbs, and night shifts; you will mentor junior staff and ensure quality and compliance across all jobs.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in kitchen exhaust cleaning.
• Strong NFPA 96 knowledge.
• Able to climb ladders and lift 50+ lbs.
• Able to lead a small crew and work nights.

Responsibilities

• NFPA 96 Compliance: clean hoods, ductwork, rooftop fans to bare-metal standards.
• System Diagnostics: pre- and post-service inspections to identify hazards.
• Documentation: capture photo/video records for client transparency and compliance.
• Team Leadership: manage a 2-person crew for setup, teardown, and cleanup.
• Fleet & Gear Management: maintain tools and organize vehicles for shifts.
