Job summary

Kitchen Guard of Colorado is seeking a Lead Technician to oversee full-system cleaning of commercial hoods, ductwork, and rooftop fans, with a focus on safety and NFPA 96 compliance.

You will manage a 2-person crew, train junior associates, and advance to Foreman while earning solid pay, overtime, and certifications financed by the company.

Relocation/ signing bonuses offered; start at $22/hour with overtime bonuses, provided gear and training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of kitchen exhaust cleaning experience.
• Understanding of NFPA 96 codes and grease containment systems.
• Able to work independently and lead a 2-person crew.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• NFPA 96 compliance: full-system cleaning of hoods, ductwork, and rooftop fans.
• System diagnostics: pre- and post-service inspections.
• Documentation: photo/video records for client transparency and fire marshal compliance.
• Fleet & gear management: oversee vehicle organization and tools readiness.
