Whaley Foodservice, LLC is a leading provider of commercial kitchen equipment repair services. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing customer equipment with competency in multiple CFESA-certified skill sets, and on-call responsibilities.

The technician will document tasks on a tablet, communicate clearly with customers, and mentor others while upholding safety and quality standards. A competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• CFESA Master Technician with three of the four CFESA certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of applicable service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that aligns with safety standards.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
• Use tablet to document task (parts order, work order, timesheet) on a timely basis.
• Communicate professionally with customer regarding required repairs and status.
• Use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools.
• Monitor truck stock to insure required parts are stocked on vehicle.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms.
• Work independently with daily supervision.
• Participate as scheduled for weekend/holiday on-call rotation and work regular overtime as needed.
• Obtain correct part numbers through branch parts person.
• Collect payment on COD jobs.
• Contribute positively to branch targets for response time and first time fix rates.
• Participates in available training to increase skill and knowledge.
