Job summary

Whaley Foodservice, LLC is a leading Southeast commercial kitchen equipment repair company with 600+ employees across 31 locations. We are hiring a highly capable technician to maintain and repair customer equipment, mentor others, and participate in on-call shifts.

Pay ranges from $40.00–$52.00 per hour with generous benefits. The role requires CFESA certification coverage (three of four), a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• CFESA Master Technician with three of the four CFESA certifications.
• 1 year of applicable field experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
• Utilize tablet to document task (parts order, work order, timesheet) on a timely basis.
• Communicate professionally with customer regarding required repairs and status.
• Use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools.
• Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on vehicle.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms.
• Work independently with daily supervision.
• Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation and overtime as needed.
• Adhere to all SAFETY policies and procedures.
