Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated engineer with direct experience in Linux kernel mode drivers to help deliver the future of GPU driver software. You’ll work with a small team on a new kernel-mode driver and collaborate with the Linux kernel community to upstream patches.

You will influence architecture and design of NVIDIA GPU kernel software to work well upstream and represent NVIDIA software to the open-source community, helping NVIDIA stay at the forefront of AI, HPC and visualization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry software development experience.
• Experience delivering device drivers and kernel-mode software.
• Direct Linux kernel development experience with a track record of upstream patches.
• BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Work on a new kernel-mode Linux driver for NVIDIA GPUs.
• Collaborate with the Linux kernel community to patch NVIDIA hardware.
• Influence architecture and design of NVIDIA GPU kernel software for upstream compatibility.
