Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an innovative engineer to join our GPU Software team to design and develop key components of production GPU kernel drivers and embedded software for datacenter and gaming markets.

You will work on driver architecture, performance optimizations, and collaboration with hardware and software teams across distributed locations. Strong C/C++ and kernel experience are required, with Linux/Android/Chrome/Windows familiarity.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven leadership and ownership of past projects.
• Exceptional C/C++ programming and low-level driver experience.
• Kernel experience with Linux, Android, Chrome, or Windows systems.
• Familiarity with computer system architecture basics (caches, memory controllers, DMA).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify features for next-generation GPU driver architecture with hardware/software teams.
• Identify and solve performance bottlenecks in the driver across datacenter and gaming regimes.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver scalable GPU software solutions.
