Job summary

HomeWorks Energy, Inc. is seeking Journeyman Electricians to support a range of electrical work across Massachusetts. This role includes supervising Apprentices, wiring HVAC components, and performing panel upgrades and safety-compliant installations.

You will be responsible for knob & tube remediation, thermostat wiring, and ensuring MASS Save documentation and quality customer service. Travel to sites and overtime eligibility are common.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the appropriate regulatory authority.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Must demonstrate basic fundamental knowledge of using a computer.
• Thorough understanding of electrical principles, practices, and techniques, as well as current electrical codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Electrical Apprentices and ensure safety and quality.
• Perform knob & tube assessments and IC rated light assessments with sign-off or quote.
• Install wiring for HVAC equipment, heat pumps, boilers, and smoke detectors.
• Manage service and panel upgrades and knob & tube remediation.
• Pull permits in required areas and maintain documentation.
