Job summary

HomeWorks Energy is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support electrical work for customers, supervise apprentices, and coordinate installations. The role includes knob & tube remediation, installing heat pumps, fixtures, and service upgrades, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

The position requires a journeyman license, at least 1 year of experience, and strong communication skills in English. Expect field duties across MA with overtime eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the appropriate authority.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to read and interpret diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate with customers and crews.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Electrical Apprentices and ensure safety and quality.
• Perform knob & tube and IC light assessments with sign-off or quote.
• Install and repair electrical components for HVAC equipment and panels.
• Ensure permits, licenses, and MASS Save documentation are up to date.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports for installations.
