Job summary

HomeWorks Energy in Massachusetts is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support electrical work for customers, supervise Apprentices, and handle HVAC hookups, panel/service upgrades, knob-and-tube remediation, bath fan installs, and emergency repairs.

The role emphasizes safety, code compliance, and customer service, with opportunities for training and advancement. Work is primarily on-site at customer locations across MA with some field travel.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the appropriate regulatory authority.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Electrical Apprentices and ensure safety/quality per Mass Save and company guidelines.
• Perform knob & tube assessments and IC rated light assessments with sign-off or quotes.
• Repair and install electrical systems including light fixtures, wiring, fuses, thermostats, and heat pump components.
• Ensure code compliance and safety; pull and close permits where required.
• Complete documentation and permits for installations, inspections, and projects.
