Job summary

HomeWorks Energy is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support, coordinate, and facilitate electrical work for customers. This role involves supervising Apprentices, wiring HVAC equipment, and performing panel and service upgrades, knob & tube remediation, bath fan installation, and emergency repairs.

The candidate should have a valid Journeyman license, at least 1 year of experience, and strong safety and customer communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the appropriate regulatory authority.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Must demonstrate basic fundamental knowledge of using a computer.
• Thorough understanding of electrical principles, practices, and techniques, as well as current electrical codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Electrical Apprentices and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Perform knob & tube assessments and IC-rated light assessments with sign-off or quotes.
• Install and repair electrical components for HVAC systems, heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, and bath fans.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain permits/licenses for each project.
