Lead Java Developer (on site)

Cognizant is seeking a motivated and energetic Lead Java Developer skilled in front-end technologies, Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, with experience in implementing event-driven architecture.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement analytics solutions and models deployed on cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
2. Analyze business requirements and provide solutions, interacting with TPMs and Tech Leads, and leading discussions.
3. Build applications based on business requirements following industry coding standards, including writing unit tests to meet or exceed coverage targets.
4. Ensure features are successfully tested and deployed to production.
5. Implement monitoring solutions as recommended by the client.
6. Document design and service specifications; guide developers in preparing functional and technical specs.

Key Qualifications:

• 9-10+ years of experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong experience with Kafka or other messaging queues.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge in designing large-scale, high-volume applications.
